Bere sortzearen bigarren mendemuga dela eta, Iparragirre bertsularia omendua izanen da kantaldi honen bitartez. Beste hainbat bertsu eta olerkiren artean, izigarri ospetsua bihurtu zen "Gernikako Arbola" idatzi zuen.
Horren karietara, Variétés antzokiko agertokian bilduko dira Hendaia eta Garazi-Baigorriko kolegioetako 80 gazte, Petti eta Maddi Zubeldia abeslariak eta Maddalen Arzallus bertsularia.
