Mediterraneoko ipar-mendebaldean, gora kantatzea, musika tresna gutirekin edo batere gabe, gizonek, emaztek, edo biek betan lantzen duten berezitasuna da. Abesbatzen eredutik urrun, Tornaveus taldeko kideak lurralde horretako ohidurek eta kataluniar hizkuntzaren altxorrek erakartzen dituzten ahaletaz oso kontzienteak dira.
Proposamen artistikoa lau emazte kantariek egiten dute, gizon ahots bat hartuz kontraste gisa. Jaume Ayats, etnomusikologiako irakaslea eta ohizko polifonietan oso jakintsuna dugu. Taldearen harroina da eta berarekin batera biltzen ditu Ester G.Llop, Heura Gaya, Joana Gomila eta Iris Gayete kantarisak. Denek kudeatu edo parte hartu dute Kataluniako lurraldetan, tokian-tokiko ikerlanetan eta besteak beste kantuaren aspektu soziala eta formala landu dute. Bost ahots eta Mediterraneoko ohiduretan oinarrituz, harrigarriko soinu polifonikoa sortzen dute !
Baionan, kontzertuaren lehen partea instrumentala izanen da, Kataluniako oboarekin, « flabiol », danbolin eta era ezberdinetako perkusio tresnekin. Bigarren partea aldiz polifonian emana izanen da. Entzuten ahalko dira lan kantuak, seaska edo ur gazituaren abestiak, kantikak, danbor kantuak eta Aste sainduko Stabat Mater pieza.
