Datuen babesari buruzko araudi orokorra Europako araudi bat da, eta dagokion legea 2018ko maiatzean sartu zen indarrean. Araudi horren helburua, herritarrak babestea da partekatzen dituzten datu pertsonalak kontrolpean atxik ditzaten. Hori dela eta, egiturak, edozein direla ere, atxikitzen dituzten datu pertsonalen babestearen erantzule dira. Beraz, araudi horrek zuzenki eragiten die elkarteei.
Erregelan izan zaitezten, informazio gaualdian, eman behar diren urratsak aipatuko dira: elkartearen datu digitalen egoera aztertu, behar-beharrezko ekintzak plantan eman.
